Installation of ventilation and air conditioning systems of any complexity
Ventilation and air conditioning systems are used to supply fresh air to the premises, maintain comfortable microclimate parameters in them, as well as to clean the air from dust and other contaminants.
The first simple option for a joint solution of air conditioning and ventilation is the use of channel blocks from multi-split systems or from high-performance air conditioners. A big advantage of this solution is the possibility of mixing fresh air into each channel unit. For such cases, when selecting a multi-split system or a high-performance air conditioner, it is necessary to take into account the humidity of the outdoor air, which should either be heated or cooled by the same system in the future. This is probably the cheapest option of all possible solutions.
The second option for a joint solution of air conditioning and ventilation is the installation of a VRF system, which is also a multi-zone system. We can say that this is also a multi-split system, but with broader capabilities and a different organization of the refrigeration circuit. There is also an external unit to which channel indoor units are connected. The blocks are installed either in each room, or one is divided into several rooms. Each duct unit can work both for the recirculation of indoor air in the room, and an air duct can be supplied for the supply of outdoor air for the purpose of ventilation. Such multi-zone systems are currently very common and have a wide range of performance: from a dozen kilowatts to two hundred kilowatts, which allows them to be used in almost all types of premises.
The use of the following system for air conditioning and ventilation is also possible, but already as part of the chiller – fan coil equipment. We will talk about channel-type fan coils, which are also installed indoors, and can work both on air recirculation and with fresh air inflow. There are no restrictions on the number of such fan coils, as, accordingly, there are no restrictions on the number of rooms where they can be installed and serviced by one chiller.
We can say a few words about supply and exhaust installations, which, to some extent, can also solve the issues of ventilation and air conditioning. Such systems operate on partial or full recirculation, and the built-in recuperator partially solves the issue of heating the outside air due to the outgoing warm air.
